“Our new 12,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility boasts custom-made architecture, hand painted artwork from Italy, striking sculptures, and a serene outdoor space, which I am very excited about,” raves Tuscan Sun’s Owner & Founder, Cheri Satterfield. “Not only is Tuscan Sun the perfect place for a bit of ‘me time’, it is the perfect place for friends, family, and even coworkers to gather, relax, and enjoy one another’s company. Whether you are celebrating with your bridal party or having a pampering girl’s day out, you are guaranteed to make special memories in our one-of-a-kind, beautiful spaces.
However, it is key to remember that Tuscan Sun is more than just a spa; we offer hair and nail services, medical cosmetics, laser liposuction, facials, body wraps, weight loss solutions and so much more!

Our cutting-edge Aveda salon offers a variety of services, including cut & color, styling, smoothing & conditioning treatments, hair extensions and salon enhancements.
“We have a full service hair salon where we offer Aveda hair color,” says Amanda Kriston, Tuscan Sun Canonsburg’s Manager. “Aveda is special in the way it performs. Artificial hair color can leave you looking lackluster, but not Aveda. It gives you the shine and healthy look of youthful hair. It’s truly beautiful.”
Our Aveda color services include color retouch, all-over color, highlights, and balayage. Whether you are looking for subtle definition or an all over eye-catching color, Tuscan Sun has the perfect option for you!

“Comfort is key when you are sitting in a salon environment for a long period of time,” states Cheri. “The salon features Italian styling chairs (which are very chic and comfortable), easily accessible pull-down hairdryers, a fantastic processing area for our color and balayage clients, and the color bar is the perfect place for our stylists to mix our beautiful colors. And those are just a few things that lend to an amazing experience at our salon! Our new shampoo chairs (Are you ready for this?) are the same chairs that they have in the White House. No lie! They recline and are so comfortable. It’s just a beautiful, welcoming, warm environment. I had my hair done last week and I could’ve sat there all day. It was so nice!”

I love the new team that we’ve assembled at this location,” exclaims Cheri. “As we all know, I wasn’t happy with the delay in getting open, but I’m thrilled that we were able to have so much time to train our staff, and I’m proud to say they’ve been trained by some of the best in the industry, including Lupe Voss and other high-end colorists. I am so excited for everyone to experience all of the services our salon has to offer and to meet our incredibly talented team.”

Let’s talk about our gorgeous Lash & Brow Studio, shall we? The décor is chic, yet playful with our Best Day Ever lush wall of boxwood that makes for the perfect backdrop!
“The Lash & Brow Room is fantastic,” says Cheri. “The room features reclining chairs that are of the highest quality and are made specifically for doing lashes and brows. Let’s be honest. These services can be a bit tedious, so it’s important to have the utmost comfort while you’re here. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. I am just so excited about those chairs!”
Another beautiful setting in our spa is the Couple’s Grotto Suite. Whether you are in the mood for a couple’s massage or a couple’s soak in our tubs, this is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway.
“In Tuscany, everything is stone,” exclaims Cheri. “When you tour Tuscany, you notice that a lot of spas there are stone grottos, and we wanted to style it after the real deal. Our stonework was built in the old stone style with the heavy grout and our double soaking tubs are also featured in stone.”
Throughout our spa you will also notice our beautiful treatment tables. These heated tables are very comfortable and feature a bust decline, so that when you lay down, your spine will be in perfect alignment. Plus the addition of memory foam makes the experience even more amazing!
“My favorite service is the Stress Relief Massage that incorporates our Aveda Stress Fix lotions and oil, which nourish my dry, stressed skin and has a wonderful aroma therapy aspect that reduces the feeling of stress from everyday life,” raves Alexis, “Following my massage, I enjoy our Infrared Sauna to extend my relaxation!”

Tuscan Sun offers a variety of dry floats to whisk you away to an ultimate state of relaxation. After being pampered with lotion and oils, your body is wrapped and immersed into an anti-gravity bed while floating on water – all while staying completely dry!
One of Cheri’s favorite rooms in our spa is the new nail studio. “I think it’s probably the most gorgeous environment I’ve seen. Once go there, you don’t want to leave that room. It’s private and it’s the perfect experience for you and either your significant other or your best friend. It’s so beautiful and the chairs are big, roomy, and comfortable, and the pedicure bowls are big. You just feel like royalty when you’re getting a pedicure in there!”

These teas are very unique and special, and I love that you can smell all of the curated teas and infuse your own blend at our tea bar! We also have her special chai concentrates that you can take home! This tea is amazing and we make it here every day. Of course, we also have coffee and water – plus little snacks – so you are guaranteed to feel more at home.”
What I love about Tuscan Sun is that we have all the amenities and advanced services of a large destination spa & medical spa, but the warmth and customer service of a smaller business.
